From the blending of the oak barrel and an amphora (traditional container where, in antiquity, we used to keep wine and food) the ovoid jar benefits the micro oxygenation, inherent to the porosity of terra-cotta which is composed of limestone and clay. At the same time, the jar keeps the authenticity of the grapes’ varieties and the freshness of the wines. In these giant eggs, the wine lees are constantly raised by an internal current in the form of a vortex. It gives our wines an aromatic complexity while keeping their original purity. |
